The legal status of the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (the ICAC), its judicial personality, its operational setup, and its scope of competence are determined by:

• The Law of Ukraine “On the International Commercial Arbitration” dated February 24, 1994;
• The Statute on the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which is Application 1 to the aforesaid law;
• The Rules of the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
