Dear users of the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine (the ICAC) services, we would like to inform you that the ICAC has posted an informational notice on its website regarding the procedure for determining the number of arbitrators in cases heard in accordance with the ICACʼs Rules.

In particular, the notice explains the procedure for determining the number of arbitrators in the absence of a relevant agreement between the parties and notes that a decision by the Presidium of the ICAC or the President of the ICAC regarding the number of arbitrators, adopted in accordance with Article 30(1) of the ICAC Rules, is final. The ICAC Rules do not provide for a procedure to review such a decision.
