On 17 November 2024, Alexander Belohlavek, our colleague, arbitrator of the ICAC, Ph.D., Professor at the University of West Bohemia, Prague and the Technical University (VSB), Ostrava, founder and managing partner of the Bělohlávek Law Firm, passed away.

Professor Belohlavek had been an arbitrator and a great friend of the ICAC for 20 years. He was a well-known scholar, authored more than 150 books (as a sole author, co-author or editor) and over 500 articles. 

The Presidium of the ICAC, our arbitrators and employees express sincere condolences to the family and share the pain of this irreplaceable loss.
