ICAC is shortlisted for the Equal Representation in Arbitration Pledge Award by Global Arbitration Review-GAR.
The finalists include 7 other leading international institutions and individuals: LCIA, ArbitralWomen Diversity Toolkit ™, JAMS, WWA-LATAM initiative (Women Way in Arbitration Latin America), Lucy Greenwood’s, AmCham Perú; Katherine Simpson.
Global Arbitration Review noted that all three Vice Presidents at ICAC are female.
Among other important indicators that characterize the ICAC as a modern and developed institution on gender equality are:
- 46% of the ICAC Presidium is female.
- 37% of woman-arbitrators were involved in the consideration of the ICAC cases in 2019.
We are proud of the nomination and look forward to the results to be announced during the Paris Arbitration Week this April.
