Inna Yemelianova – a guest lecturer at Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine

On 06 November 2025, the students of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine attended a  guest lecture by Inna Yemelianova, the Vice President of the ICAC and the UMAC. The event was held as part of the “Dialogues with Famous People” project.

Ms. Yemelianova gave a special guest lecture on “The Role and Place of the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Resolving Commercial Disputes.” The lecturer spoke about the specifics of foreign economic disputes, the advantages of international arbitration, the choice of substantive law, arbitration clauses, and mediation in arbitration. The format of the meeting provided for active dialogue, and students had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss the practical aspects of arbitration proceedings.

The lecture was also attended by professors, students and the President of Rivne Institute of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine – Stefania Ukrainets.

The ICAC expresses its gratitude for interest in the topic of international arbitration and notes the importance of such educational events for the development of practical skills and professional training of future lawyers.
