On 13 June 2025, Vice Presidents of the ICAC, Ms Inna Yemelianova and Mr Volodymyr Nahnybida, took part in a meeting between representatives of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and regional chambers with the delegation of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), headed by its Secretary General, Mr John Denton.

During the meeting, participants discussed a range of important matters related to the functioning of business and international markets under current conditions, as well as the activities of the Ukrainian National Committee of the ICC (ICC Ukraine). In addition, the ICC presented an initiative to grant regional chambers of commerce and industry in Ukraine the status of individual affiliated members of the ICC. This initiative is expected to create new opportunities for direct cooperation between Ukraine’s regional chambers and the world’s largest business community, thereby strengthening the voice of Ukrainian business on the global stage.

As part of the discussion, ICAC representatives proposed, with the support and leadership of the ICC, to consider the possibility of re-establishing the advisory group of heads of arbitration institutions in Europe. This group operated successfully in the 2000s and proved to be an effective coordination platform.
