Rules of assistance in arbitration

The ICAC is an active participant in professional polemics, aimed at forming arbitration court practices and arbitration climate, and stands for international standards in arbitration in Ukraine:

  • The ICAC is the only representative body in Ukraine addressing arbitration issues at the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL)
  • The ICAC cooperates with arbitration institutions across 18 countries and is a member of professional associations, such as the Central and Eastern Europe Arbitration Institutions Group (CEEAG) at ICC, the International Federation of Commercial Arbitration Institutions (IFCAI), the CCI Chairman Union of the CIS member countries in commercial arbitration
  • The ICAC acts as an appointing authority in accordance with UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules. The ICAC shall charge a fee of US Dollar 1000 for each case of fulfilling the functions of the appointing authority, and making the decision on challenge or termination of the mandate of an arbitrator, regardless of the amount of the claim.
